We've added a new member to the Ivyhurst.com community. Our long search to fulfill the canine vacancy at Ivyhurst is over! Check out our little friend Millie in her very own photo gallery.
We've conducted all the interviews, and there were some really nice candidates for the long-vacant position of "Canine Specialist" here at Ivyhurst.com. After much debate, we've picked Millie. Millie's winning wiggle and friendly style won her the job. We're hoping her aptitude for learning lives up to the hype. At this point, Millie has the finest pedigree in our home. (We're gunning for a truly regal goldfish at some point, but until then, Millie will hold the crown.) Ok, so here's the vitals on this little lady... - Breed: Scottish Terrier (AKC registered)
- Color: Black
- Attitude: Friendly and outgoing
- Birthday: Feb. 24, 2007
- Likes: Toes, Nylabone, stuffed weiner dog, kong stuffed /w peanut butter, walks, when everyone comes home from work, and meeting new people.
- Dislikes: The yappy lil' Jack Russel next door, sour apple spray, when everyone goes to bed at night, Stuffed Mr Sun, IAMs Puppy Chow.
- Favorite food: Carrots and turkey bologna as a close second.
- Favorite book: War and Peace
- Least-favorite book: Puppy Handbook (she hates the picture on the cover)
- Favorite film: Metropolis (Fritz Lang)
- Favorite Sport: Hockey (NASCAR is so yesterday)
As you can see, Millie's a bit new to things and still developing her tastes. I'm sure she'll be contributing more in the future.

I also like doing #2 on the neighbor's sidewalk. -Gauvin | Comment by GUEST on 2007-06-08 11:00:45 Millie also likes parts of trees (sticks, leaves, bark, and sticks with leaves on them). She may have been a carpenter ant in her past life. | Comment by GUEST on 2007-06-09 06:11:28 Mille's role model is Lassie who paved the way for other female dogs entering the film industry. The Elizabeth Cade Stanton of the dog world, Lassie successfully won equal treatment of female dogs, thereby gaining, for female dogs, equal access to screen tests and roles that would have otherwise gone to male dogs such a rin tin-tin. Grandma | Comment by GUEST on 2007-06-09 06:22:34 I look forward to meeting my great-granddog sometime during my visit this summer. Pops | Comment by GUEST on 2007-06-09 06:23:24 Likewise.
